Self-confidence comes when you have self-discipline.
Leaders with great self-confidence have self-discipline. They follow certain rituals, no matter what happens in their life. The ritual that they follow gives a sense of ownership that they have control over their life.
How to start with self-discipline?
Self-discipline is all about deciding what you wanted to do and doing it. Doesn't that sound simple? Yet most of us struggle to put that into action.
We may plan what to do certain things but then the regular pattern kicks in. The human brain will do anything possible to keep you safe. Getting out of a pattern is a disruptive behavior and it could be achieved only through will power.
If you want to take control of your life and you are starting, we would suggest you take it slow. Rather than planning 15 tasks in a day. Make 5 doable tasks. Gradually increase the pace.
Exercise is a way of gaining self-confidence. When your mind and body says that you can't run a minute further and you still do it. It gives you a sense of accomplishment. Which makes you feel that you are in control.
Fix a time to go to sleep and to wake up. Most people don't have a regular time to go asleep. It may be hard at the beginning but as mentioned earlier. Tiny steps each day is all it takes. Take it slow.
Planners are used by 80% of the top 1% crowd. Planners help you to maintain a routine in your life. You get to write down what you wanted to do for the day and you go and accomplish them.
Just by taking ownership of your day, You gain confidence in life.
A day is nothing but a mini version of your life.
Good day :)
